Ujima Magazine spotlights Black Business Summit that marks National Black Business Month
August is National Black Business Month, a time to recognize the impact Black-owned businesses have on communities while celebrating the entrepreneurs who continue to innovate, lead and inspire.
One local event doing just that is the Black Business Summit at Greater Mount Zion Church. This year’s theme, “Yet Still I Rise,” honors the resilience, creativity and strength of Black entrepreneurs while bringing the community together for a morning of inspiration, networking and empowerment.
The summit will take place on Friday, August 8, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, offering attendees an opportunity to connect with local business leaders, hear valuable insights and celebrate the achievements of Black-owned businesses throughout Central Texas.
